Top Chauncey Hotel Reviews

The Lodge at Hocking College

10/10 Excellent

"The room was spacious and clean it was perfect for us we wanted to go hiking at hocking hills and be close so we wouldn’t drive far. It was perfect, comfortable and convenient!!"

Hometown Inn Athens

10/10 Excellent

"Check in was easy and quick. The person who checked us in was so nice. The location was good for us to go to Ohio U events. The unit was clean. The unit had a microwave, coffee maker, and a mini fridge. It’s inexpensive and work well for us. It’s right near a highway but there’s not much traffic at night so it’s fairly quiet. There is ample parking and I felt safe in the area. There isn’t any breakfast, but grocery stores and coffee shops are not far away."

The Mulberry

10/10 Excellent

"Definitely the best staffless hotel I’ve stayed in. Very clean, easy to access and use door codes, and decent amenities."

Postcard Cabins Hocking Hills, Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy

10/10 Excellent

"Loved every bit of our stay. Cabins are exactly as advertised. Beautiful views and wonderful hospitality."

Worthington of Logan

8/10 Good

"Very nice hotel. Loved the covered courtyard with tropical plants. Loved the board games for guests to use. Breakfast was good. Parking was right up front every day. Very clean rooms and common spaces. Reception staff was super nice. One lady in particular was always cleaning something in her downtime. (Should've gotten her name!) Saltwater pool was nice and quality-checked frequently. Loved the overall tropical theme and colors of the rooms, including the doors. Great location to explore the town and very close to Hocking Hills attractions. The beds were too firm and 3 out of 4 in my group had a little trouble with that. Might be an age group thing? (62-70) But overall, a very nice stay."

Ohio University Inn & Conference Center

10/10 Excellent

"Clean, quiet, comfortable stay - as usual!"

Quality Inn Athens

8/10 Good

"It was a nice place for the pool and spa but somehow I got the handicap room ?"

Avenwood Cabins

8/10 Good

"A cute, pet-friendly cabin. I’d love to visit again in the future."

Fairfield Inn & Suites Athens

8/10 Good

"The room was nice enough, the shower glass had water spots and the grout could have used a good scrub or maybe time to replace? Overall it was a clean room which is number one for me to feel comfortable. No stains on carpet and sheets were spotless. They also provided plenty of towels. Thank you! Good location off main street. My only real annoyance was how inconsiderate other guest were being loud talking and laughing in the hall at 11:00 pm and others dropping heavy things on the floor above us. It just seems people don't care anymore and they think they are entitled to do whatever....sad reality."
