"The views , the setting and staff were excellent. What let the hotel down was attention to detail- our room had a cracked glass balcony which did not instil confidence. The lack of reliable hot water a was another poor aspect as was the indifferent housekeeping which we had to constantly talk to housekeeping manager about. The lack of response from the front desk and management until 11pm on night before departure with an alternate room was too little too late. To cap this on the last night key...

"Riff is a serene bubble in Sri Lanka. Beautifully designed, well maintained, with very good restaurants (that appeal to western travelers if they prefer non Sri Lankan food), the staff is friendly and supportive. I highly recommend the spa that is part of a small network of balinese facilities in Sri Lanka. The pool and beach integration is very good with miles of walkable sand in each direction. The sea itself in March was pretty dangerous so I focused on the very nice pool. I highly recommend...

"I don’t even know where to begin to describe this place. It felt like home from the very moment we arrived and were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff. Our room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and we were even upgraded to a larger room. Breakfast and coffee was delicious. "Das Highlight des Hotels war das Personal. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Aber für den Preis gab’s es zu wenig Auswahl. Der Pool und die Lage direkt am Meer sind ein Traum. Es waren alle sehr bemüht, dass wir uns wohl fühlen, es wurde auch ein Meet-Greet veranstaltet. Essen und Trinken ist relativ teuer, da noch 10% Service Charge und 31% Steuern hinzugefügt werden. "Utrolig lekkert boutique hotell. Litt harde senger og mye bølgesus inn på de stilige rommene, som gjorde det litt vanskelig å sove. Frokost burde inkludert kaffe/te, men var ellers god. Maten ellers har også et potensiale for å bli bedre. Samme var service og når ting kom på bordet, men hjalp at alle var veldig søte og imøtekommende. Alt i alt et supert opphold som anbefales. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Cape Weligama Hotel. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were taken by buggy to our amazing room overlooking the garden. It was spacious and so was the bathroom. A short walk to the dining room for dinner and breakfast and we enjoyed being able to sit outside on the terrace for both. My husband went on a nature walk with a ranger around the property and was shown different plants and birds which he really enjoyed. In summary, we really enjoyed our stay...
