Fantastic apartment 10 min to Plovdiv’s Main Street, 15 min to old town. Absolute gem. From the outside the building isn’t glamorous but it’s very safe and the apartment is plenty big for a family of 4, maybe even more if people sleep on the sofas on the living room. The shower works well but there’s no separate shower area or curtains so the owner provides a squeegee and slippers. The boiler is big so many people can shower in a near time. My wife and I spent just two days in Plovdiv in late June, and were very pleased we chose the Hotel Evmolpia. Victoria was very helpful and friendly at check-in, and we were delighted with our large room. The hotel is in an excellent location in the Old Town, and very quiet. The breakfast was satisfying, and we enjoyed the generous cheese and wine on offer in the evening. All in all: highly recommended.
