"Lovely hotel and fantastic staff. Ideal location for me when working in Chester. "

"Staff were amazing and very helpful. Food was plentiful. Room and corridor smelt of either burning plastic or some chemical. Carpet badly needed vacuuming. No AC. Very inconvenient for guests that you have less than a quarter of parking spaces available, forcing street parking."

"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."
