This hotel was recommended by a bunch of travel bloggers and it is conveniently located just right next to Chiayi Train station. If you are planning on going to Alishan from Chiayi, this is the perfect hotel to stay at! The staff are helpful and very friendly. The reason for 4 stars though, but more like 3.85 is due to the cleanliness of th hotel. Lots of unnecessary displays that could be better organized or build a nicer retail space instead of a messy table, and you have to walk all the way to the back to get to the elevators which leads to another room that is smelly and seems like a bar but not really in use. My biggest complaint is the sheets were also smelly. It smelled like someone's body odor. Other than that, I think the convenience of the location to everything makes up for it.

Superb!

Travelled half of Taiwan and this is the best hotel we have stayed! Conveniently located within 2 minutes from the TRA and around 10-15 mins walk to the famous night market, which was great for us as it gives us sufficient time to have all the food digested before we go to bed. Room was clean, amenities provided went through great thoughts. Different colours for toothbrush and bedroom slippers for easy identification. The bed and quilt was super comfortable which really gave us a good nightā€™s sleep. Nothing negative to share about this hotel! Highly recommended!

Spacious room, excellent location. Do not let the ā€˜no windowā€™ description put you off booking the basic room. The room still has natural light, and you never have a hotel room that you can open the windows anyway.
