"If you're looking for modern conveniences like air conditioning, wifi, great service, and nice rooms, this is Blantyre's best hotel by far. The staff was incredible - it made me realize that Malawi can have a real five star tourism industry if it wants to. "Apparently the property has recently changed ownership, but this was not apparent in any way. Everyone was very welcoming, the food was excellent, the room spacious and tidy. The gardens offer a good place to sit and relax, and were in good condition given that it was towards the end of the dry season. I recommend the Leslie and would stay there again."

"I always feel comfortable and well cared for at Chinyonga House. I will return there each time I visit Malawi. The staff is very nice and can help you arrange transportation. The dining area can accommodate business partners or friends if you would like to invite someone to diner. It is very close to the Museum of Malawi and regional shopping districts. The guest house is also near a bus stop if you would like to visit the Malawi University of Science and Technology. "
