"The room was clean, the amenities were useful, and most of the staff were very helpful and courteous. Unfortunately, one incident significantly detracted from our stay.
When ordering room service, we were required to pay upon delivery. When the kitchen staff member brought our food and requested payment, I explained that I needed to retrieve my credit card from my wallet, which was on the bedside table. My wife had just showered and was sitting on the bed in her undergarments. I asked the staff member to wait while I retrieved my wallet.
As I turned and walked toward the bedside table, the staff member proceeded to follow me into the room without being invited. My wife was understandably shocked and extremely disturbed to suddenly find a stranger inside our room while she was partially undressed. I immediately paid him and dismissed him from the room.
Regardless of the circumstances, entering a guest’s room without invitation - particularly after being explicitly asked to wait - is completely unacceptable and represents a serious lapse in privacy and professional judgment. We otherwise had a positive experience with the hotel, but this incident was deeply uncomfortable and should be addressed by management."
