"Every single staff member was terrific and so helpful. The property is very walkable to everything, secluded by gate access and very private. The patio overlooking marina is beautiful. Our room had a huge patio that we enjoyed immensely. Breakfast was wonderful with varying offerings daily. We loved it!"

"This hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of Sorrento! The staff was so helpful with any need that you have. The communicate well and arranged transportation for us from the train station to the hotel and to the airport on our final day. The have a coffee/espresso machine for use anytime and the breakfast was wonderful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"We stayed for 3 nights in May while visiting Italy. I can't say enough positive things about the Ara Maris. We were in a room overlooking the rear pool/garden with a private hot tub. We did not miss viewing the sea as we'd seen it throughout the day. The room was spacious and we especially appreciated the double sinks and the separate water closet. The location was very central but very peaceful, and we had a beautiful terrace where we could relax in the afternoons, We had the Pomegranate room, which was very comfortable, especially the bed, and a fabulous bathroom. Breakfast was OK, also we had some noise at night from the restaurants below/next door, which lasts until around midnight or so. Overall we were happy with the choice"
