"What a beautiful surprise stay! The Aspen room was terrific, especially the mural. The hospitality of the staff, fresh-baked snickerdoodle cookies, and breakfast in the garden were lovely. Would definitely stay here again! Also, off street parking and walking distance to Coors Field (but not through the safest of neighborhoods, so keep that in mind)."

"It was outstanding in every way imaginable! Went for our honeymoon, stayed in the Royale Suite,naclcony accesswith a view over courtyard,amazing. Rich history inside this mansion,gorgeous staircase in the entryway,not to mention the spooky ghosts to greet you when you stumble in from the convenient Tavern 10 FEET from the hotel! Located in awesome Capitol Hill, tons of local food,clothing and dank close by. Cannot wait to go back and see what Chris has in store for the basement!!!! Will be back...

"Incredible hotel, wonderful location and amenities. Was visiting my sons in Denver. Gorgeous room, dreamy rooftop, responsive staff, early coffee service. I jogged on the Cherry Creek trail, walked to Hapa for sushi, then Little Man for ice cream. Highly recommend."

"Enjoyed our stay. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were very clean. Will say that the only negative was a lack of insulation from room to hallway. Could hear other guest when talking in the hall. But that only occurred for about an hour at 10 to 11."

"If you want only the bare basics, this will work. But don’t let the photos fool you…it is very small. NO COFFEE IN ROOM. PThe room and bed are very small. Good location. Pay parking garage next door. Staff was not overly friendly. Upon check in my room smelled like swamp and had to ask for a room change. Pay for breakfast- I did not try."

"The property is old so there is an old smell but it’s decent for business. The staff is nice but not very helpful. If you need something or have questions the pass you off to other people until you get tired of asking."

"This place is such a colfax time portal and true gem. The decor was very cool. Location was great on the facts of life. The room was great for the price with everything I needed and a great view. Check in was easy and host was responsive but not physically present. They accommodated an early check in and were very nice."

"This was a five star and then last night happened. I was locked out of my room it was 0200, I accidentally left the phone in the room (so, no way to call or look up any of the numbers I had been in touch with the staff the last 2 days of my stay, and no way to check my reservation. I'm sorry I was outside in the rain for 3 hours trying to figure out how I was going to get back into my room there's no information on anywhere in this building of the phone numbers that I could I could have reached...

"An absolutely charming property with an artsy vibe, steps away from the Denver Art Museum complex and across the street from a converted school featuring a cafe, beer garden and small shops. The room was comfy, clean and fun. The absolute abundance of dishes for such a small space was comical, but the microwave/fridge set up was nice to have. Pretty good pod coffee too. Don't miss out on the bottom floor with an atmospheric small table area great for eating take out, and a large conference room...
