"This place is disgusting. There is brown liquid literally dripping down the walls in the lobby. Elevator was out of service, it reeked of cigarettes and marijuana, the room was filthy and had stains on the comforter and looked like someone had been laying on it, there was black hair all over the bathroom, rust, and dirt. There were also very sketchy people clearly living in the hotel. We left immediately and were denied a refund."

"The staff were sweet as can be and very helpful. I overheard the staff tell a client No animals and No smoking. Our room was completely full of dog hair on the floor like it hadn’t been swept in days. I was shocked. I did not notify anyone as I didn’t want to make a scene. The sheets and bed were clean and comfortable. Overall not bad except the floors. I took pictures to confirm."

"Room was clean, bathroom well it always smells like humidity because they don’t have fans I guess , ironing board was broken but told tue front desk. Breakfast is always excellent for continental!! Love their pillows and bed! Wish I could buy those comfy pillows LOL One bad thing our room was facing the I-81 so we could hear the big trucks and traffic which sucked"

"I rarely leave bad reviews, but my stay at Candlewood Suites Watertown was honestly very disappointing. Carla at the front desk was kind and accommodating, and she was probably the only positive part of the experience. The room smelled terrible, like a closed unused room full of dust and mold. There were spider webs everywhere, flies inside the room, and the living room area smelled very bad, like it had not been cleaned or used properly for a long time. The curtains were broken, the windows...

"The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. I booked two rooms, each with two beds. On the morning of my arrival, I called the hotel and spoke with a representative who confirmed that both rooms were reserved next to each other. However, when I arrived that night, the front desk representative did not honor the reservation as previously confirmed. Instead, I was assigned two rooms that were far apart, and one of the rooms had only one bed instead of two. That room was also not properly...

"Affordable and clean"

"After being closed for remodeling and opening 1 week from our arrival I was very impressed. The beds were very comfortable the air conditioners worked to good. Only issue is they had no refrigerators to keep our drinks cold, no ice machine and went down for the complimentary breakfast and there was nothing. They are still working out all the bugs from just reopening."
