"Stayed in the Estrella room, it was beyond beautiful. Long scenic walk to the room, kitchenette, and filtered water in the full sized fridge. Staff was very kind and helpful, since the hotel was 6 hours from SJO we had to leave at 4 am and to our surprise there was a staff member there to assist with checkout. There are no key drop-boxes, so I was worried about how we were going to return it. Overall an amazing stay."

I love that I can never leave the resort but still have an amazing time after it rained the entire time my previous visit. And even better to come back to after a day out playing in the area and relaxing on the beach for sunset while enjoying one of their many cocktails. "We had a great stay at Tango Mar. The owner always greeted us each day to see how we were or how our day was. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! I took advantage of the spa and had an incredible massage. Gorgeous views of the ocean right out your window and the multiple pools to cool off in with the heat. Swimming beaches were a short drive away if you wanted to swim in the ocean."

"Truly gorgeous property with lush tropical landscapes, quiet location just steps from local eateries and just a short walk across the street from the beach. Minor suggestions: a dresser to put belongings in (there were shelves near shower, but not enough room for all of our belongings) and perhaps a place to set or hang keys/purse near the door. Also, didn’t see an ice machine. Of note, there’s a gravel path with slight incline that leads to the casitas, so you must carry your bags to your room. Overall, our stay was truly so nice here! The front desk staff weee so nice and helpful w/recommendations, and we loved how peaceful this location was! Comfy beds, AC worked great, & pool was perfectly warm too ☺️"
