"This was a wonderful place to stay and anyone who says otherwise is crazy. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and our room was super clean. We felt safe even while walking back from the nearby pier at nightfall. I was pleasantly surprised to learn I was the customer of the day when I checked in. Alec checked me in and was awesome. So was the day manager who checked us out. The attached restaurant Fish Camp was honestly one of the best I’ve been to. Friendly staff, the design/layout had fun character and the food was delicious. Perhaps the best grits I’ve eaten anywhere. I’m not fully sure when or if we’ll be back in that general area but if we do, we will definitely stay again!"
