"Hotel Sonne is a comfortable hotel right in the center of Lienz, a quick walk from the train and bus stations. The interior of the building itself is definitely dated and a bit austere, but that really didn’t impact my stay. My room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the mountains. The breakfast options were great, and I appreciated that breakfast itself started at 6:00 (I’m an early riser). The staff were friendly and accommodating. "The town of Forni Di Sopra is a beautiful setting. The hotel is on the edge of town by the ski hill. In the summer the ski hill has activities for kids and families. It’s a less than 10 minute walk to the center of town. Excellent location for hiking in the area. Our room was well kept and everything in the hotel is very clean.
