"The garbage in our room was not emptied for the guest before us. Beach view was great from our room. Parking was a bit tight here as well. "

"We had a great stay! The room was clean, the bathroom was big with plenty of towels, and our view of the river was magical, especially at night. The only true negatives were that there was no conditioner in the bottle in the shower, and as one who has to have it to "tame the mane", it was really disappointing not to have any. The other negative was the lack of a good, soft pillow. The small square pillows the hotel provides were not soft or comfortable for me."

The price seemed to be a very good value for a hotel with a number of nice amenities, including breakfast (delicious and numerous options), a pool/jacuzzi/sauna area (they were quick to notify guests in advance of a repair to the jacuzzi and it was done earlier than expected), complimentary cookies in the afternoon and smoked salmon chowder in late afternoon. It was also great having access to the bikes and we really enjoyed riding the path by the beach. Nice breakfast. We will definitely stay again! "

"I loved the location, really close to the beach and walking distance to downtown. The place was clean, no A/C, could use a couple fans for warm nights while sleeping. I needed extra tp and towels, all I had to do was call and they brought them over. I do wish there was a broom and dustpan. Being so close to the beach, we did track in sand. We stayed several days, so it would've been nice to be able to clean up a bit. Other than that, it was great. "
