Misleading at best. I booked this stay for my daughter's 16th birthday weekend. The description showed a beautiful entrace, well appointed rooms, restaurant, bar (obviously not for my daughter, for myself and her Aunt), and indoor swimming pool.
Let's move on to checking in-The outside of the Lodge does NOT look like the photos it was old dated but still presentable. The lobby was nice and looked like it was going to be a great stay. Then I spoke with the woman at the front desk as we arrived early around noon. We tried to check in if possible. She said well sorry but we only guarantee the room by 4. I relayed to her that i was aware of that but just thought we'd try. I asked for her to give us a call when it was ready. The call came at 3 and we came back. She then stated oh you're in a standard two queen room thats not in here. I asked if there were other rooms because this was my first time booking with them. She responded a bit snarky well yes there are other rooms, you're just not in them. OK, that's nice, recieved the keys, yes actual keys and proceeded to the other rooms she spoke of down the hill. The only accesses was through stairs. Not a problem, just difficult. We entered our room and it smelled musky and old, translation, unclean. The wall paper was coming off of the wall, dresser was dusty, no fridge or microwave. (Guess that was the other rooms) the pool NON Existing they filled it in 5 or 6 years ago!!!! DISAPPOINTING we left and booked with Hilton!
