"The staff was so welcoming from the time we arrived. The hotel property is beautiful. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Florence but they also have a shuttle. I’m a walker so I preferred to walk but it does have hills. The breakfast was so delicious I miss it. They have free parking which was important to us because we were renting a car to drive to Tuscany area."

"What a quaint four night stay. The nuns managing the desk and the grounds were sweet and helpful. The room was neat with a pleasant balcony view out into the courtyard. A bit longer of a walk to central Florence but only blocks from the train station. A unique property to unwind after experiencing a great city."

The bed was a hard memory foam, we didn't care too much but it's good to know if you like a plush bed. "Enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Villa Sul'Arno in early April. The accommodation was amazing, a beautifully conceived and comfortable junior suite with a balcony overlooking the river.
