"Wonderful hotel with very nice staff, easy check in and check out, clean, large room that lacked for nothing except a fridge. I love the location on the upper west side, near to the natural history museum and Central Park. Nice Matin offers nice meals throughout the day with a hotel discount. The price is half what the same room would be on the east side. They do not have valet parking but the parking lot they recommend gives a big discount if you are staying at the Lucerne. "

"Wonderful, unique hotel- beautifully appointed, very clean, adequate fitness center, friendly staff. Great continental breakfast including a latte machine. Downsides: very comfortable bed but TERRIBLE pillows ☹️ Typical tight NYC hotel- very small bathroom with NO counterspace- had to place my toiletries on a towel on the floor. Area is not safe to walk around so keep in mind you will need to Uber everywhere. But overall I would totally stay here again!"

"I needed a place to stay for a night so it worked. I didn’t like that I could hear the TV through the walls coming from somewhere else. I didn’t sleep well because all I could hear was the TV. In the morning they had a little bit of toast and bagels. Some tea and coffee. For what it was, it served its purpose."

"Our room was clean and quiet. We arrived early and they waived early arrival fee so we had access to room early. Close to Central Park and subways. Will definitely go there again when we visit . Also had snacks available and a nice wine and cheese event in the evening."

"Beautiful hotel with great location and quiet spacious rooms. Coffee not so great but the happy hour made up for it. We will be back !"
