"This is one of those “you get what you pay for”. Our stay was ok. The location was perfect for our short vacation. The staff was nice. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness. The restroom floor was dirty, there were long black hairs on the floor that I ended up cleaning. We found a roach strolling up the wall, the room didn’t smell clean and the towels were small and old. Not a place I would stay again."

"We loved the property, our room and bathroom were large, comfortable and clean, very peaceful atmosphere and pretty location, only problem the owners said there was wifi and online that was mentioned but when it was time to use wifi it did not work, person in charge said they would do something about it but no results, we might need to stay there again in the future since our daughter lives nearby relatively and we do hope it will be working by then."

"Never was able to check into the room. Called first thing that morning as asked for early check in. Was told be a additional $30 but room would ready no later than 1pm. Whe we arrived at 12:50pm the front desk lady REFUSED to check us in even though our room was ready. We were not wanting to go into room but just get our keys because we had a bday party we were attending and didn't want to be late. "We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Conroe, Texas. The hotel was nice, clean, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. One thing we really appreciated was that they kept towels available at the pool, which was very convenient and a thoughtful touch.
