"Smaller resort, which was actually nice b/c it is more relaxing. Gorgeous pool area. We stayed in an over-water bungalow, which was spacious and lovely. The only complaint I would say is it would have been nice to have a chair. Like just a regular chair to sit in. There wasn't one in the room or on the deck (only lounge chairs). "Our stay was wonderful! The hotel staff is very friendly and everything was super clean. The whole hotel, beginning from the garden, over to the house and the pier had lovely details wherever you look. No matter if its plants or flowers, deco elemants or art. "The property and staff are as expected. We enjoyed our time here. My only dissapointment is that when the airline delivered our lost luggage to the hotel they failed to notify us it was in their storage. There it stayed untill we tracked it down just before our departure."

"This is a beautiful resort, but a large one, so it can be a hike to some things, depending on where your room is. There are 2 pools so one or the other will be most convenient depending on room location. Four different restaurants, so it's a nice variety, which is good considering you are captive here as there are no restaurants (or anything) in walking distance. "The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"
