The staff was very helpful with every question I had during my stay, from helping me locate my room to answering questions about the hostel. The laundry room came in handy and was very convenient to have on-site. There was also a good selection of beer, and the pool was a nice bonus. Overall, the hostel had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. A +++

Good location -- not too far from rail station and walking distance to amenities and attractions. Hostel has some great features: paid pool, paid gym, arcade room, TV room, cafe, massive TV in lounge, and plenty of public seating. Dorm rooms are on the narrow side and wasn't a fan of the toilet and showers in the room. They're also sliding doors so not the best for smells/sounds in a small, shared room.

This property was really big and had a lot of helpful amenities. The location was perfect as it was close to two different train stations. The city is very walkable and everything was close by. There are bikes to help. The rooms were kind of small which can make it complicated to share rooms. I stayed in both 4 and 6 people rooms. Got lucky with having quiet people. Overall great stay!

I stayed 3 nights at Steel House and it was the perfect hostel. Cleanliness levels were better than most hotels I’ve stayed in and the facilities on offer were second to none! A swimming pool, locker storage, on-site bar/small selection of food and snacks, easy check-in process (done before even departing the UK), lots of areas to rest/relax and a vast array of events running throughout the week, all of which are clearly displayed around the hostel!
