The cottage was very clean, well equipped for self catering, comfy bed with lots of warm blankets, and the gas fire was fabulous to warm the cottage quickly. Food at the restaurant was very good quality and staff in reception, the restaurant and on boast cruises were very helpful and attentive.

Beautiful off grid accommodation with no wifi, phone reception or TV's. Amazing staff and delicious food at the Tarkine Hotel. Lots of walks to do and a great river cruise. Would highly recommend.

We loved the fact that we were able to stay at a property in the Tarkine wilderness area. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant was a pleasant experience serving good quality food. Not having a TV, internet and no mobile connectivity was a benefit

We have stayed here before and decided to visit again as part of our trip to the South west. Wonderful to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the quiet and peace of the wilderness. No TV or internet, just us.

Loved the peace and quiet. A lovely area. Great facilities and awesome walking paths. Bit of a shame that the restaurant is closed in winter, would have been great to have a steak.
