The office was closed. The managers called back from some pool room. It took more than an hour to figure out how to work the remote for the heater. Their restaurant was closed and The room was clean. There was no toilet paper. The shower worked but the main spout did not close. There was no way to check out other than to simply leave.the restaurant was closed. we couldnt use the 15% coupon at truck stop because it was closed.

There was nobody there to check us in, there was a phone number on the office window we had to call. They told us they were having water problems and did not have our reservation. We had to find another hotel to stay in, I would never recommend this Bates hotel!

Cheap and this is why.

The room was clean, the bed made. No extras i.e. shampoo etc. No smoke detector and with the kitchen light flashing off and on it was not comfortable. When I turned on the tub water squirted out from the handle. This is an older line of rooms, 5, and we only saw one as attendents were not on site. Surrounding area is somewhat desolate, felt uneasy being the only one there.

The room was clean but there was dome confusion where the office was and why the restaurant wasn’t open on site of the motel. But the person who checked us in was very helpful but it was done remotely and thru email which was strange to us!

Not as i expected by the reviews. Had to go to a truck stop down the road to check in. Very old but seemed clean enuff. Room was loud with people in other rooms. Bed uncomfortable. Fridge didnt work. Had to go back to truck stop for ice.

It was not what i expected. Pictures posted are not the same as listed. Property is run down needs to be updated. Freezer had not been defrosted in quite sometime.

Nice simple no frills hotel.

Nice simple no frills hotel. Slow response to checking in, towel replacements and check in. If you need a clean non-expensive alternative to most hotels near the Ark Encounter, this fits. Hotel is for a place to sleep, shower only. No restaurants right by the hotel. Lots of restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Call Hotel a couple of hours before check in to receive a text message with door code and WiFi password. No office at the hotel location.

It was ok. Floor was wet and didn't have anything to wipe up. Room was clean but needed things updated or finished. Very old microwave and no coffee pot. AC was cold so that was good.

Ok, so I have stayed here before and I would say that it’s gone downhill a bit. When I opened the room, it smelled like old fish. Property was a bit run down and worn, but for the price, I’d give it a C+. The shower and bathtub were on point!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. There was a strange woman wandering around the parking lot who appeared to be on drugs. The code sent to me wouldn’t open the door. Finally got the right code and got in. The room had not been touched. There were towels on the floor. There was trash in the room. The icing on the cake was there was blood on the sheets. When I called the motel they wanted me to go check another room to “see if it was cleaned”. He also told me it wasn’t his fault what people did in the room and was very rude. Didn’t even refund my money for the night. I wouldn’t stay here for a thousand dollars. Stay elsewhere!!!

No staff to request the removal of garbage. Walls with plaster need to be panted. Lots of flys. Floor needs cleaning. Location is very good. Beds were comfortable. Very quiet. Very run down. No coffee on premises. Need coffee maker in room. Need instructions for use of shower.

The owner was very friendly. There have been some recent upgrades, such as the AC unit, which was very nice. For the price, I feel like its a fair room. It was not the cleanest room I've stayed, but not the dirtiest either. As other reviews have stated, there was a lot of moisture in the room, more than outside even. I assume that was the reason for the strong mildew smell. All together, it was okay.

Couldn’t believe it got a 10 on your reading. No coffee or machine. No ice machine. Room lights burned out. Ask for a light bulb twice but was never delivered. Was advised to go to their restaurant. A half mile away if we wanted coffee or ice. Wasn’t sure they would bring me or replace lights twice, but never happened. clean but still a work in progress. Over priced.
