"The Belltown was very convenient for visiting the tourist areas of Seattle, with easy walking access to Seattle Center and the waterfront. We were able to ride the train in from the airport. On the downside, the area of town seemed to have a large number of homeless and some drug use and panhandling after dark, and the area restaurants were a little more costly than we expected. Overall we had a great experience and would stay there again. "

"Overall great vibes! Staff are very polite and down to earth. Rooms are very modern and the bed is so huge which is a plus if you have a guest. The food is good just wish they had a few meaty options for the late night munchies! The bar is awesome too! Overall great place to stay short term or long term for 1 and max 2 people."

It has a great location and accommodations are just fine, but given the competition in Seattle, it came up a bit short on this stay. Parking is always a bear in Seattle. "The State Hotel was a great property. It was my first time here and I loved the room and location. I do think the one chair in the room is a bit uncomfortable but that’s just me. The hotel is next to Pike Place and of course there’sg homeless around the area but they don’t really bother you. Bed was comfortable. I loved the shower and could have stayed in there for hours. Would stay again. "
