"There was nothing special about this property. In fact, it was over rated on the review I read that led me to book my stay. The rooms were okay to good condition. The bath towels were some of the cheapest, rough, non-absorbent that I have used in my 50 plus years. The cleanliness of the room was an average to good, but nothing spectacular. I would rate the property a B or B-, average to slightly above average."

"This was my 3rd or 4th stay at Hampton Inn Farmington. The amenities are great. A quality breakfast included with a fair number of options and the gym, pool and hot tub are nice. However, the hotel seems to target children's birthday parties and traveling sports teams. The lobby is boisterous and overrun with loud and rowdy unsupervised children and teens. If you want a peaceful stay, choose another hotel."

"I hate to say it but the sister property in Avon can’t even compare to this location. I was so disappointed with the Avon location that I amazed to find out that this was a sister property. The instant I walked in the door, Matt was amazing, the rooms are quaint and clean, and the restaurant along with the staff like Kelly, put an exclamation point on the property. The restaurant is the gem of the entire hotel. When locals fill the restaurant on a Tuesday night it speaks volumes. I will be back...

"The sheets were stained and the floors were very obviously uneven throughout the whole room. When I walked without shoes on and got into bed, my feet brought all the floor dirt to the bed. The hallway smelled burnt all the time, and the dedicated police parking spot out front gave me pause when we entered. Also, don’t try to ask for extra towels or shampoo. They have a policy… Overall, it’s fine for what it is: a quick stop to sleep, but nothing more than that. Breakfast is also only coffee and...

"Staff was friendly upon arrival. Rooms look like the photos online. Rooms were clean. Weird they constructed a wall over the patio exit so you cannot use it. Area surrounding is pretty dead. Good for a one or two night stay."
