Opening the windows and doors, and spending time on the outdoor deck wasn't a pleasant experience because of the excessive noise and car exhaust. The location is right in downtown Salem within walking distance to a nice walking path and restaurants nearby. There were people working on vehicles like an automotive shop, people squaring in the parking lot, and lots of weird traffic which was no place for me to stay with my baby. I thought this one had been renovated like some others but seems like they may have used photos from another location. "This is a throwback to the 1980s hotel, physical key, older hotel, and it doesn't look like much from the outside. But the room and bed was clean and super comfy and everything was very nice inside the room. Not fancy, but a great place to stay the night for OSU graduation."

"Property currently under construction so that might be inconvenient to some. When we arrived there were no guest bathrooms available in the lobby prior to check-in. Sometimes many come quite a long ways to reach their hotel only to be told they have to wait til they check into their rooms to use the bathroom. Inconvenient for those having emergencies. Other than that no complaints."

"Not really the hotels fault but there was lots of door traffic throughout the night. The lady who helped me check in was great and sweet. It was decent on the cleanliness. I didn’t get to stay for breakfast but it smelt good on my way out."
