"Large, clean room with great views across to Edinburgh. Staff were great and a special mention goes to the waiter in the restaurant and the breakfast waiter. Really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fab. The only negative is please don't skimp on toilet paper. That fear of your finger going through causes great anxiety. Spend a little more on quality roll! Parking at the nearby station was easy which makes this place a great base for visits to Edinburgh."
"This is exactly what you want in a guesthouse in a tiny village. By far the best place we stayed at in Scotland with amazing staff, beautiful decor, and absolutely amazing food! Do not skip the restaurant! Cannot recommend the Bankfoot Inn enough!"
"We enjoyed our stay very much. Pam was friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. We could see the sea from our bedroom window. It is a little far to the centre of town, so if you don't have a car, be prepared."
