"This is a wonderful hotel. The property is lovely. The rooms comfortable and well appointed. The staff go out of their way to assist you. (One came up to my room when I couldn't find the room service information. Bravo!). The front desk staff were really friendly and kind. I was tempted to book another night when I was informed that the weather on the US east coast was threatening. I can't think of a finer hotel experience and I have had many."

"Great location , easy to get the bus (trams not available) 16 or 25 from Leith Links to Princes Street.. but preferred the location of MalMaison at Leith Docks away from the hustle and bustle of the City ! Breakfast was excellent with options to suit everyone, during our 3 night stay we were lucky to have Hannah on breakfast duty each morning, her friendly helpful manner started each day with a smile.. Also thank you to reception who located my phone I left and kept safe for collection."

"This hotel is a very nice location to visit the town of Dundee. It located fairly closely to the city center, the RRS Discovery, many shops and restaurants, and the train and bus station. The staff were outstanding! Can't say enough about how friendly and helpful they were at the front desk and breakfast service. Honestly I would have given them a 5 star rating if it weren't for housekeeping. We had to request tissue, toilet paper and shower gel because our room wasn't serviced adequately, but the front desk staff were happy to address these issues immediately.."

"Well appointed accommodation, good quality fittings and comfortable bed , annoying issue with toilet that did not flush , changed room new room had no crockery , TV was not working, changed batteries next day all ok. Simple housekeeping issues clearly not supervised. Easy to fix though , breakfast highly priced, found good breakfast nearby at almost 40 % less. Shop around"

"Lovely hotel, very clean and nice staff. Enjoyed our stay after a long journey however the WiFi was very poor, making it difficult to search things and keep the kids entertained. We also stayed in a dog friendly family room which was a bit small for 4 people and a dog."
