We stayed here for 3 nights, unfortunately our second night was disturbed a mechanical issue in the bar above our room. That said the room was large and comfortable, the balcony was large and had comfortable seating and a lovely view. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. We didn't try the spa as we wanted to walk and swim in the sea. We used the train to travel, but there is plenty on street parking around. Spotless room. Friendly and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast full of variety. Excellent dinner in the restaurant. Amazing view from the restaurant! We will be back.

This felt like a brand new hotel (except for the floor corridors that showed some signs of accommodation / concierge porters being a bit less careful with their trolleys. Hard product was fantastic, staff was good. The only thing is the location - Halmstad is small and the walk to the town centre is just 5-7 mins- but it’s right behind the train station in an area with some light construction.

Overall top notch. Very friendly staff, the amenities were great, and the gym, although small, was perfectly equipped. I did not expect this quality.

Hotell Gastis was so quirky with so many books and artefacts. Our room was very small but perfectly adequate. We hired bikes and visited a small nature reserve. We also went in the Leninbadet which was an amazing experience, even with the steam room not working. It was like going back in time and we loved it. Very nice hotel, nice clean room. Wonderful view, good breakfast. Nice Spa, great beach 🏝️ and bridge to swim from. Only negative note is that the surrounding buildings are not that nice. But the hotel is wonderful and so is the staff. I Can recommend. Business conference.

Despite a very rainy stay (which has nothing to do with what the Hostel can influence ;-), we really enjoyed the stay (family with teenagers)! A clean, warm and nice room to stay with clean bed linen and towels, shower and toilet in the room and easy access (indoors) to the guest kitchen (which is actually two huge cooking spaces, very clean, tidy and equipped) with space in the fridge for each guest. Pool and ping pong table available (no cost!) and a great sauna! A lake nearby, which we did...
