My first, but definitely not my last!

This is my first Woodspring Suites experience. The hotel is in a great location. So much is within walking distance. The front desk staff is great. When one of my neighbors decided to blast their TV at 3am, I called downstairs & a few minutes later the problem was solved. The suite is clean & cozy. This is probably the cleanest extended stay that I’ve ever been to. I’d definitely recommend & return!!

It wasn’t terrible. I couldn’t really tell if this was a new or outdated property. You can easily hear noises coming from the hallway and the fridge in the kitchen was locked. For the most part it was quiet and convenient.

For the most part, friendly staff, mostly functional, except the first time, but they did fix the issue, where most all other hotel do not when staying in hotel for several weeks. 3rd time there and pleased with its location to my office. Only bad part is staff is not there 24 hours, they do close the lobby. Staff leaves at 10pm and come in around 9amor later.

Woodspring Suites is excellently located, near shopping, main thoroughfares, and public transportation. It also looks really good from the outside. Unfortunately, inside it is badly worn, devoid of even basic amenities, and infested with ants. Unless you are prepared to do battle with hundreds of streaming ants on your countertops, stay somewhere else! Also, good luck finding someone to complain to,

Stinky Elevator

Very roomy kind service but omg the elevator bearing grease that gets hot from use of the elevator,stinks up the entire place. I had to buy glade plug ins.

I think people live there full time

Honestly I didn’t even stay. I had 8 nights booked and when we arrived for check in, there were already 2 people ahead of me that were checking in. So it gave me a minute to stand back while waiting, to check out how the customer service was by the staff/receptionist, the cleanliness of the hotel, the people coming in and out of the hotel, etc… Something in my gut was off about this place but I didn’t say anything. Just still observing. So it’s my turn to check in and the receptionist tells me that there’s a wait to check in because my room isn’t ready. I’m like ok…… And so he asks me did I want a 1 bedroom instead. I say I need a 2 bedroom because I have other guests besides myself. He says well I’m now kicking someone out, but just give room service a while to clean the room then the room will be ready. He says I’ll be on the 3rd floor but cautioned me that there was an odor near the end of where we would be staying because a resident, whom he was about to kick out(his words) let his dog pee on the carpet. But he’s about to get the carpets cleaned and shampooed. So, in my head I’m like, no. Absolutely not. So I ask him if they had anything else available and he said they were all booked. So I said, you know what nevermind I’ll just go to McKinney and find a place to say. The place is like an extended stay honestly. The people coming in and out looked like they lived there full time. Kids getting off the school bus, smokers hanging around. No thanks.
