"This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. It consistently is super clean, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and very close to the Hartville Flea Market and great food and shops. We stay here several times a year for a weekend getaway and have never been disappointed."

"We absolutely loved these accommodations. The room was very clean, the staff went above and beyond, the breakfast was great and we enjoyed our time on the balcony and sitting around the fire. I had a very specific question for the staff, I was looking for something very specific and Gwyn was so helpful! She found a brochure for recommendations and then even printed me a list with details on what I was looking for. The breakfast was great too, and as someone with a gluten allergy and other dietary restrictions, that’s not normally the experience I have. The fires and cornhole were a nice touch as well. The only complaint we had was that the hot tub and pool were tiny. Realistically it’s a 2-3 person hot tub because it’s build strangely and the pool had two children and an adult in it and was pretty much unable to us because of that when we tried. But honestly, everything else more than made up for it. Pretty much everything was within walking distance as well. We walked to dinner and multiple shops. We could have walked to coffee and more shops, but it was hot. Also, there’s a pet store where you’re invited to pet everything which was cool! We didn’t purchase anything because I don’t believe in Mills, but the experience was cool!"

"The Carlisle Inn at Sugarcreek is outstanding! I would recommend it to everyone. It is everything you would expect for a stay in Amish country. The rooms were excellent in every way (cleanliness, size, amenities, layout, etc.). The property is impeccable. Food was great. Staff amazing. Can't say enough good things about it. Will absolutely be back."
