"Expedia did not submit my booking. I had to wait for hours until things were sorted out. When I thought everything is solved Expedia also forgot to submit that I booked breakfast. The receptionists were helpless and asked me to sort it out. But as a guest this shouldn't be my responsibility. The next day they provided breakfast complimentary because of the inconvenience. Generally the staff was very different. Some attentive an quick (especially during breakfast) and some quite some slow - but...

"Very cute little guesthouse. Note that it is in the middle of nowhere, so if you want to explore it's not very convenient. Also you are basically bound to the hotel restaurant, which is decent but not fancy. But the rooms and pool area are nice, with an exit onto the beach. Super good value for a getaway when you truly just want to relax :)"

"Had a comfortable and luxurious stay here for our first three nights in Sri Lanka. Travelled in June which is off season / monsoonal however we barely saw any rain - sunbaked by the pool most days and was very relaxing to travel in the quiet season - at times had the whole pool and grounds to ourself. Buffet breakfast was incredible and had soooo many options. Grounds were beautifully maintained and the gym was perfect too"

"We enjoyed our stay. We were on Level 7 and the room was large and very clean. It was in good condition and everything worked. The staff were very helpful in resolving a couple of minor issues. There are lots of restaurants and ATM's close by. The rooftop pool and restaurant had great views all around. Our only complaint is that it was missing some things that would have made it 5 stars. Other than basic shampoo, soap and a kettle, there was nothing else. No hair dryer or iron, no...
