"Communication was excellent. Nice, quiet location. You have to fill the tub yourself on arrival which takes some time, but instructions were clear and easy. A great spot!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Great views of Akureyri and the northern lights. The room was spotless. Staff were very helpful - we asked about wine and beer as the bar wasnt open in winter. They got us a bottle of wine and some beers which was great as it was my partners birthday. "

"Do not stay in these apartments. This review is for Apartment No 6
1) The hot water smelt of rotten eggs, which on investigation is linked to bacteria in the water tank. We had to resort to boiling the kettle to use hot water. We contacted the property 18th Feb to raise our concerns and did not get a reply. I raised a complaint with Expedia on our return and the property have refused to take any accountability for the problem. Expedia were very good dealing with the complaint though

"Really appreciated first class laundry facility. Kitchen well equipped, lovely spacious modern apartment. Only problem was the dreadful bed - no proper mattress, just a kind of soft non-supporting topper. Both of us awoke with back pain. "

"Praktisch appartement, goede bedden, maar niet echt proper (vooral de ijskast was vuil), geen keukenhanddoek, lamp stuk in badkamer en geen wc papier bij aankomst (wel direct komen brengen na telefoontje). Wel zeer centraal gelegen."
