"We were visiting our daughter who was working at a camp down the road, and landed at the Dao House. We stayed in the lodge, which was beautiful. Our room had a door to a shared balcony and hummingbirds were everywhere. We had 2 queen beds for my family, and the room arrangement worked really well for the four of us (2 teens). "Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of parking on sit and very close to the town. I was able to walk 15 minutes to the Estes Park visitors center easily when I didn't want to drive. Each room has a picnic table and lots of area to sit outside. Breakfast was basic- bread, yogurt, waffles but got the job done. The rooms can be a little hot as they use window units. Lastly each room leads directly to the outside."

"Don't know any details about this hotel as we took one look at the room they assigned to us and decided it wasn't for us. The room was below ground with zero view except for the underside of our car. As we were pre-paid, the hotel issued no refund. I will never pre-pay again."

"It was a rustic cabin setting by a river. We enjoyed being able to get away from the crowds in Estes Park. Our cabin was unexpectedly very close to the other cabins, however, all the guests respected the quiet. Messaging with the host was easy and quick. The kitchenette and bathroom were tiny, but sufficient for our needs. We liked the screened porch with the swing on it. There was a sufficient wifi & tv signal. Location was close to everything in Estes Park. Check in/out was super easy."

The room was clean, comfortable (AC was a must for me and I was grateful our room had it plus a ceiling fan in the July heat), and in a beautiful location just outside of the downtown Estes Park area. "When we check in to this hotel, the room smells so bad. So the staff send me to another hotel (Discovery) that under same management near by. The 1st room we got in the 2nd hotel have 2 queen bad in very bed condition. After a long arguing and wait, we got a room with better beds. The whole check in time from one hotel to another and change room, we spend more than one hour."

"Property is in convenient location only 12 minutes from RMNP, and close to downtown. Bed was very comfy, nice hot shower, quiet, spacious room with fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Great pool and arcade gaming room, but no gym. Limited continental breakfast options, waffles, warm food options, some of them unusual. Staff is great and very helpful, solved any arising issue quickly! The room and bathroom could benefit from some updates, but overall good value for the price!"

"This is a cute little get away. The kitchen is not practical to cook in other than warming up leftovers but way better stocked than a hotel room.
