"We had a wonderful weekend here. We cycled round the breathtaking Lake Vrynwy and came back to a soak in the hot tub. The next day, we visited the stunning Powis Castle with beautiful gardens. We would love to come again. The cottage was lovely. "

"It felt like a property that had been reopened after being closed for years. No attention to detail. No tv in bedroom. Vastly overpriced for what it is and provides."

"The hut looked really shabby from the outside but, thankfully, it was better inside. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but there were no towels or tea-towels, dishcloths etc. and no tea, coffee etc. The bed linen wasn’t great, with stains and burn marks on the duvet cover. "Avoid at all costs, we arrive and left refusing to stay. "Glamping pod" was in a terrible condition, hardly cleaned and falling to bits. No towels provide, bed was unmade on arrival, hot tub was not cleaned let alone heated for arrival. Was definitely not as advertised, a break to relax and recharge. Shocked Expedia continue to list."

"Very friendly atmosphere"

"Clean rooms, great views and really perfect for a quite relaxing break"

"It is a lovingly extended stone cottage between a fast moving stream with a view and a country road. A very well equipped home from home , a perfect base for up to 4 ppl to explore the area. The owner is very responsive, and found her more reliable than the company managing the property.the "
