"I had a reservation,, but it was for the building across the road. We upgraded to a 2 nd floor room overlooking the water. This was offseason in September, so the beach was deserted and very peaceful. Kind of old-fashioned in its furnishings, but comfortable and kind of charming. Ding room staff were very friendly!"

"Lovely, very high end hotel set in stunning surroundings. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Room was well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Great bed. Food was lovely (best chowder in NE!). Highly recommend this oasis of quality and comfort."
