"The location of the hotel is quite good, within walking distance to many places of interests, such as the riverside walkway and some historical sites. The hotel staff was helpful, giving me many tips for places to see. But the hotel surrounding area is noisy. I can hear someone in the neighborhood arguing very loudly late at night. "We were not expecting this place to be as great as it is. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurants were unexpectedly good with great food and views of the mountain. The onsen was a great experience. Just be prepared to have your Western views about nudity challenged (the onsen is nude only. No bathing suits allowed). Just one thing, the staff will tell you the in-suite onsen takes 20-ish minutes to cool down to a temperature that won't scald you. It was closer to an hour. "

"Hotel is super clean and well located. Walking distance to the local features and food spot. Staff were very friendly. Joyce was very friendly, and thoughtful. My wife wasn’t feeling well, she take a special trip to visit her and brought her drinks to see how she was doing. Can’t express the gratitude, and detail to attention all staff committed too. "
