Room was obviously not cleaned before we went on. Dirty towels, sink had gross gunk in it, and there was an open bag of chips on the very sticky counter. Room smelled terrible and there was crap all over the shower head, as well as a hastily patched hole in the shower.

This hotel should be avoided at ALL costs. We had to check out because it was so dirty. No sign of it having been cleaned. Hair on the beds; residue of who knows what on the floors. No shower curtain, towels, or hand soap available in the room. No toilet paper. Asking for these basic things was an inconvenience to the staff. The room smelled foul. Staff showed zero interest at check in; and zero interest when we left due to the awful state of affairs. The building needs to be condemned. Stay elsewhere in Danville. Don't step foot in this place.

The property is nasty roaches and fleas!! The downstairs smells horrible because o dogs!!! And hotels should not have carpet an welcome dogs!! And no long mirrors in the rooms and need to serve breakfast

Hot and Gross

The room was covered in a white powder, and destroyed. Holes in the walls and doors, disgusting bathroom. And the air conditioner was busted and the room stayed at least 78 degrees. Will never be there again!

Dirty and needs to be updated

I always check for bed bugs though I did not find any there were dirt and food crumbs under the sheets. The bathtub faucet leaked. The carpet was nasty stained. And the bed linens looked ancient. The whole hotel looks run down.

The hotel is nothing like it’s advertised. Our door wouldn’t lock and they wouldn’t do anything about it. Just oh sorry I will tell maintenance. Never got room service. Our window was broken. The staff we interacting with were very helpful. The manager's sign behind the desk borders on illegal for their clock-in/out policy. The hotel is pretty much a dump. I wish we had just spent the extra money to stay at the nicer hotel next door. The room reeked of smoke, the remote was missing, there were no glasses, the smoke detector had been removed, and the shower had a hole in it, and that's just what I remember of the top of my head. Unless you're desperate, stay next door.

Exterior was ok. Rooms are terrible, first room stunk of smoke and tv didn't work. The second room they moved me to wasn't much better, no smoke smell and tv worked. Chair was stained and bathroom door had holes in it. This motel used to be nice but it is in really bad shape now. Breakfast was advertised but was not available.

The curtains were filthy, there was no phone in the room, the bathroom door did not have a handle, there were holes in the shower wall where a rail was missing, there was no working remote for the television, and THE ROOM WAS INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES! The beds were hard and very uncomfortable as were the pillows.

Gave us a room with frozen up air conditioner. Moved us to smoking room while telling us it was nonsmoking. But the smell of cigarettes almost knocked us down and the walls and curtains were yellowed. I am allergic to it so they ended up putting us back in the room with non working air. Refused to refund our money. Completely unprofessional and rude man that worked the front desk! Will not return!

Property description was misleading. Stated there is breakfast and there was none offered. Outside doors were not secured, as they were deactivated. There was no hot water for showers. There was no remote for the TV. The microwave did not work properly. The curtains had duct taped patched holes in them. The carpeting was torn as well. The ice machine did not have any ice, despite us being up very early to get it. Additionally, the front desk attendant was rude too.

You get what you pay for.

They are clearly trying to update this property, but there is a lot of work to be done. My bed was excellent, but the cover of the air conditioner was damaged and set in the corner. One wall in the bathroom had been painted. The couch in the room was so filthy I wouldn't sit on it or put my suitcase on it. The television was stationary so you had to watch it from an angle from the bed. The cleaning staff was excellent, but when I checked out I wanted to put it on a different card than I had reserved it on, and the person at the desk did not know how to do that.

When I arrived at the hotel, I was told by the receptionist that it was being remodeled. I was given a room along with the door keys. When I arrived at the room, none of the keys worked, so I tried to open the door without the key. To my surprise, the door opened without the key, and inside were 3 people on the beds relaxing. I told the receptionist of this situation and she investigated. She went to the room asking with a Spanish-speaking housekeeper to inform the trespassers to leave. Once they left the room, the housekeeper looked around the dirty room and left. I set my baggage down and attempted to leave the room when I discovered that the room had no lock on the door. I went back to the receptionist desk and asked why doesn't the room have a secure door. She canceled my reservation, and I had to find another hotel. I'll never use Super8 Hotels again.

We stayed in room 102. It was NOT clean. We checked the mattresses for bedbugs (a habit we have developed) and they were absolutely filthy. No evidence of bedbugs thankfully. The sheets were clean, the towels and wash cloths were clean. The shower had 2 holes in the wall where it seemed there had been a rod of some kind. There appeared to be black mold on the outside wall on the left side near the floor. There was no toilet paper holder, There was a smashed roach on the wall right next to the sink. No one bothered to clean it off the wall. The curtains and shades were filthy. The hotel had a funky smell when you first walked in. Not sure what that was. Thought at first it was from a smelly cleaner but I seriously doubt that at this point. Won’t stay there again and makes me rethink staying at any super 8.
