Inmitten der Altstadt gelegen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt sowie Restaurants und Geschäfte fußläufig erreichbar. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel selbst hat ein sehr hübsches Interieur. Unser Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet. Diverse Kosmetik, Badeschuhe, 2 Flaschen Wasser, Wasserkocher... Allerdings empfanden wir die Betten als zu hart.

Personale gentile e disponibile,.posizione centralissima e struttura molto bella. Lati negativi: camera piccolissima, colazione continentale praticamente nulla e la cosa che mi ha dato fastidio è che hanno pulito la stanza ma non hanno rifatto il letto.

The hotel is more than just a Hostel I would rather call it a botique hotel located in the heart of the old and renovated part of Datongnan. Employees are very kind and provide the best of hospitality. Rooms are clean and bathroom in excellent condition. It is located in area where no cars are allowed so very quiet,yet the taxi can drop you at less then 3 min walk. Breakfast is a bit short especially for foreign guest . Only time it does get busy and bit noisy is on the weekend as all the sellers announce their products and services over speakers.

We are sorry about the smell of smoke. Even though we prohibit smoking in the room, some people still smoke secretly. Please inform us as soon as possible in the future so that we have time to process your room for the smell or exchange it for a room without any odor.

We loved this place! It was a fantastic place for us to stay in Datong. It was super beautiful and lovely. The rooms were clean and warm all the time. The floor heating for winter was a dream. We had breakfast there at their buffet which was lovely to come down in our own time and do. The staff were always awake and happy to say hello. Not much English but that’s absolutely fine with translation apps. There wasn’t easy public transport but that’s because there is no train or subway. It has beautiful surrounding building and walkable food and entertainment areas. Taxi’s and DiDi’s were very accessible and quick to walk to from the hostel. There’s an AMAZING food joint right underneath the hostel that is beautiful, cheap, and unique. Overall, it was a great place to be based at for three nights.

zeer goed hotel prijs kwaliteit in mooie omgeving
Het pipa hotel biedt een hele goede prijs kwaliteitsverhouding. Het is gelegen in een hele mooie, autovrije historische omgeving. De kamers zijn net en verzorgd. Het ontbijt is sober maar voldoende.

Best Place in Datong
Great, modern rooms with all the amenities, including USB wall chargers. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Mostly families and couples traveling. Quiet.

muy buena experiencia
La verdad que fue una buena expreiencia.. el personal muy amable. Esta en la zona amurallada y hay que ir andando 3 min de donde te deja el taxi.. a mi me dejo en una rotonda.. la verdad que si no llevas el nombre del hotel en chino es dificil de encontrar.. pero preguntando es sencillo

A Hidden Gem
Fantastic stay. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The city is a hidden gem. So much Cultural history and museums are outstanding.

The property was located in the heart of the downtown area. It was a very nice facility with a very helpful staff, who, if they couldn't speak English, at least had access to translation apps.

Très bel hôtel, très bien situé dans l'hypercentre. C'est un véritable musée qui mérite la visite. Le personnel y est très sympathique et super efficace.Les chambres y sont de belle taille. C'est de loin le meilleur hotel de mon voyage en Chine. Seul petit bémol, le quartier manque un peu d'âme.

Great hotel at a great price with great service.
Great hotel at a great price with great service. The Pipa hotel is a small hotel in the historical district of Datong. The staff is always trying to help you. The rooms are small but have all the details. Good Chinese breakfast. Highly recommend it.

Will stay here again.
Lovely, bit quirky, hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast limited to toast, jam and butter for western tastes and local options too - try the local doughnut type hot buns. Local area quiet and some of the local area being rennovated or re built. Convenient to walk to the local sites within the old town or to walk to and around the town wall (7.2 km in length). No evening meals but nice places to eat nearby. Bed very comfortable, shower fab plus toiletries supplied. Will certainly stay here again in the future.

リーズナブルな価格に比して十分満足の内容でした。 まず立地が最高です。大同古城内であるのはもちろん周辺に九龍壁、鼓楼や寺院などの旧跡がたくさんあり徒歩圏内で観光できるスポットが満載です。完全にオフシーズンに行ったので多少閑散とした雰囲気でしたが、雰囲気は満点でした。朝方にはちょうど真裏にあるイスラム寺院の鐘の音が響きなんともいい感じでした。 朝食はトーストや中国の揚げパンにゆで卵、前菜っぽいもの3,4種と質素でしたが、揚げパン大好きなので、お粥に浸しつつ、漬物のような前菜と一緒に美味しくいただきました。 設備も工夫してありコンセントのところにUSBポートがあって、そのまま充電できるようになっていました。シャワーのみですがお湯も気を付けないと熱すぎるくらいの温度が確保されていました。 無駄な設備が一切なく、十分な施設だと思いました。

我們是凌晨四點多到達大同車站 打車摸黑到大同琵琶酒店check in 時才五點 因房間客滿 也還沒有人退房 櫃台人員非常貼心先開個休息室讓我們進入休息 到上午八點多 我們想加買當日的早餐 櫃台得知我們第三天活動需一早出發 來不及享用早餐 主動讓我們折抵成第一天的早餐費用 不需再加購 總之 琵琶客棧的貼心服務 值得讚賞 整個客棧住宿品質也物超所值 極力推薦~

Modernes und sauberes Hotel in zentraler Lage
Das Hotel ist die hervorragende Wahl für einen Aufenthalt in Datong. Die Lage ist zentral, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Zimmer sind modern ausgestattet und sauber. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man zu Fuß erreichen. Ansonsten ist die nächste Bushaltestelle 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Das Personal hilft einem gerne bei Fragen weiter. Zudem stellt das Hotel eine tolle Übersichtskarte von Datong zu Verfügung. Darüber hinaus auch ein Merkblatt mit allen notwendigen Details um Orte wie den Hangging Temple oder die Yungang Grotten zu erreichen. Allerdings ist die Laundry sehr teuer. Das Frühstück ist sowohl auf chinesischen als auch auf westlichen Geschmack ausgerichtet. Außerdem sind die Obstteller und die Wasserflaschen im Zimmer bereits im Preis inbegriffen und somit kostenlos nutzbar.

Albergo tipico comodo al centro
L’hotel è molto carino, tipico cinese sia all’interno che all’esterno. È situato in una zona pedonale quindi è molto tranquillo e comodo al centro che è veramente a due passi. Il personale è gentile, solo una ragazza parla inglese ma riesci a comunicare facilmente anche con gli altri grazie al traduttore automatico. La camera era pulita e comoda. L’unica pecca è la colazione, che è tipicamente cinese e se non si è abituati si fatica a mangiare. Consiglio di inserire nella colazione anche due piatti dolci per soddisfare i gusti occidentali.

Non professional and unethical
This hotel requires upfront payment. Although I had fully paid for my rooms, they still released the room to other walk in customer. I WAS LEFT STRANDED IN A FOREIGN PLACE! I missed my connecting flight and arrived one day late and it was peak vacation season. Many local tourist were hunting for rooms. I think the hotel just got greedy and released the room to walk in customers. That left me with no place to stay at 6pm. Imagine frantically looking for a room in a foreign country and worse of all, hotels in the vicinity were all fully booked. They claimed that hotel.com arrangement with them gives them the right to simply release the room. It was a nightmare situation and will ruin your trip.

Your reservation is guaranteed for the first night, you missed the flight and did not send a message to the hotel. Our hotel has reserved the room for the first night as agreed. We were unable to contact you through the website;you have not responded to multiple emails.In case you are not sure whether to come, in order to avoid causing too much damage to you,we canceled the second night through the website, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
