Beautiful area. Enjoyed the rooftop hot tubs. Saw lots of wildlife during our day. Food at the latchstring restaurant was very good. We always enjoy staying here.

Gosh... I can't write enough good about our stay at Spearfish Canyon Lodge. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. We were close to the hot tubs (which we indulged in because they provided super thick robes). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were greeted with fresh cookies when we arrived. The lobby is cozy and warm and a great gathering space for evenings or groups. Several options for hiking right on the property. Close to other areas for hiking (and waterfalls). Just under 90 minutes from Devils Tower. Close to Spearfish and Belle Fourche

This was a stop over on a business trip from Colorado to Minnesota. This one day was the highlight of my week. A great way to relax and enjoy. Staff was wonderful and accomodations were plenty. WE ate at the restaurant, great food, great view and staff was attentive, friendly and went above and beyond. Thank you to the Spearfish Lodge! We will be back!

We've stayed at this hotel a few times now and it never disappoints. The staff is slways helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and nice and the lobby and outside areas are spectacular. There's a really good restaurant across the street and access to two hiking trails, one starts behind the hotel and one starts behind the restaurant. Both trails lead to beautiful waterfalls.

The amenities are awesome. They even have bathrobes for you to wear. The rooms are beautiful, the beds comfy and the staff are extremely friendly. I would gladly stay here over and over! Its a wonderful place to get away!
