"This is a very old property on top of a hill. If you plan to walk to the Convention Center or 16th Street Mall, prepare for an uphill walk back. Also 1 of the 2 elevators was out of order making for a long wait to get to/ from your room.
Otherwise, it had and lacked all the amenities associated Hampton Inn :pool, exercise room, free breakfast and internet; no restaurant or bar."

"The service was below average. Staff couldn’t give us any advice on what to do in Denver as tourists. We had to ask to have our room cleaned after three days.
When we asked for clean towels they set them on the floor outside our room.
If you are looking for good service and the little extras that make a difference to a comfortable stay? This isn’t it.
It’s a bare minimum hotel."

"We will stay here every time we are in Denver moving forward and would recommend it 100%. All the amazing history without a sacrifice for comfort and privacy. The hotel is fully booked while we were there and we never heard anyone else at night. The two-person copper tub. Epic."

"No microwave and coffee maker in the room. We had to get up at 3am for our flight and when used hot water to get tea in the lobby it was cold water. Told the staff and she started working on refilling the whole thing and didnt offer us one cup of hot water. We had to leave as it was time. Other people would have enjoyed hot water after we mentioned it was cold."

"I never saw a sign for the elevator last date of service, elevator shook terribly. The showers did not have shampoo, soap or conditioner. The air conditioner, smell like it was gonna catch fire. The toilet had quite the suction and shook the tank. The walls that were supporting the shower rod were rotten, and the shower rod was leaning and could never be straightened. There was an odd phone next to the toilet. One of the blackout curtains was laying in the corner of the room when we checked in....

"Hotel was adequate, with good location to walk to 16th street area, Convention center, Coors Field. Valet parking price was insane…we parked in a garage across the street with in and out privileges for 3 nights for less than cost for one night at hotel. Rooms were decent, clean, desk staff pleasant. There was a bad odor entering the hotel. Rooftop bar sounded interesting, but wasn’t open first night and was closed for a private event the next night.
