"Staying at hotel America was like staying in a Soviet era tower block in Moscow in the 1970s. My room was very cold and I had to request heating to be put on. Even with the extra (old and grubby) blanket I was cold all night. The room has probably not been updated since the building was constructed so the bright blue bathroom suite with missing plugs was like something from the 1970s. "The exterior and interior of the property were lovely. On our last morning Carme provided us with a breakfast in the attic which was lovely as she had been out and got us fresh bread and pastries. The view was amazing from the breakfast table. We managed to find parking every night and was a few minutes walk away. It is situated in a lovely village which is very clean and has nice looking buildings with nice views of the countryside and mountains."

"Lovely rooms, lovely bar, lounge areas and pool. The hotel is well presented. The only issue was that the children are not allowed in the indoor pool at any time of the day or night, and strangely, there was no butter to go on the bread at breakfast, even when we asked!"

"We were here on a whim. Really you are coming to this town to try amazing chocolate and taste excellent Cava. We also got to be part of a festival that it seems the entire town turns out for (check it out every 7-8 September (really 6-9th). You are not going to be at the hotel much. The hotel was basic and had everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful and the service was great! It’s simple, clean, and such a short walk to everywhere in town!
