"The Bamboo was a great apartment hotel for a one night stay in San José. We had airline problems/last minute cancellation with American Airlines and didn't get in until late. The hotel made sure someone was there late and when we needed to go out to meet up with local friends they provided us with the garage gate opener. The breakfast was a great local home made dish."

"The hotel is extremely clean and nicely appointed. They made very good use of a small space. The bathroom tile is beautiful. Nearby Cevichera Costa Rica was recommended for dinner and did not disappoint! The hotel was more than adequate for my stay and has a pool and breakfast 😊"

You can also take the bus to airport."

"Perfect spot for as we came into San Jose for our flight out the next day. The family is so kind, and it was nice to be 20 min out of the madness of a city after spending 2 weeks in amazing beaches and rain forests. Highly recommend!"

"The property grounds are very well landscaped. The rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area needs to be better maintained as the decking needs to be replaced before it collapses when someone walks on it. The rooms need updating. Once the new owners take possession, maybe hey will make the necessary improvements. We would love to return once upgrades have been completed. "
