"Our stay at Veranda Hotel Grand Baie was unfortunately not as enjoyable as we had hoped. Our apartment was located at the very back of the property, quite a long walk from the main facilities. There was also no lift, which wasn't mentioned when we made the booking. Carrying luggage up the stairs and walking such a distance was very inconvenient, especially after travelling. "Best restaurant is the Bistro. We had the best food there. Our room was always very clean and organized she was the best. The pool bar needs to have two dishwashers because when it rains they only rise the glasses they don’t even use soup. It was true after I complained the put someone to wash the glasses when the dishwasher was full. When you arrive the staff when show you the place."

"There is only 1 resturant and a buffet not 2 as advertised. We were there for 2 nights to end our honeymoon from a cruise. We were unable to get in either nights to the restaurant despite there only being 4 people dinning a one point.
