"The ad stated continental breakfast. Had to dig to find it, but it is stated the breakfast is only on Saturday and Sunday. Ad stated a restaurant on premises, Manager/Owner never stated that, and I never saw one. Ad stated a pool. It was CLOSED and it was TINY!! Picture definitely is misleading! Maybe pool was closed b/c summer was over (by a few weeks?), but it didn’t look in great shape anyway. In our room, the tub/shower combo drain was SLOW. Which meant after 30 secs you were standing...

"Not bad for the price. There were bits of trash in front of our door at check in for two days, no one vacuumed it up. The room was fine but you can tell only light cleaning is done if you really look. I wouldn’t stay again, this was our first trip to the town."

"I wasn’t expecting much, but this place was really cool! Super clean, really nice, and plenty of space. It’s close to town, but I felt like I was out in the woods. It was too hot outside to use the hot tub, or the rooftop balcony, but both would be great in the fall."

"Older resort, brass door keys, deer in view early mornings. Rooms are updated, clean with all the basic amenities including coffee pot, refrigerator and microwave. Pool, BBQ pits, tables and gazebo outside. Only complaint is gravel driveway with some pot holes to drive around."

"The hallways smelled musty, the AC units in the hall too small for Texas humidity. The room was worse, smelled like old socks and the AC was noisy when it was on. The place is in need of upkeep and paint. I would not recommend staying here. Go to Hampton up the street for $30 more per night."
