They all kept to themselves but it really added to the downtrodden destitution of the place. Had the room been 60 or $70? It would have been fair 50$ and it...

"The Oakdale Inn is our favorite place to stay while in southern Virginia. The Inn is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast is very enjoyable, and the location is very convenient to anything that you're doing in the area. "Very sad old hotel that is in great need of repairs and upgrades. There were 2 beds in the room, one was hard as a board and the other was way too soft. Wallpaper coming down, carpet badly stained, unrepaired damage in bathroom, etc. Desk clerk was very nice."

"They were not sensitive to those who work out in the a.m. because the fitness center was opened at 10 and checkout is 11 had to remind the staff that the Fitness room was not open. They said give me 10 minutes that put us at 10:15 and it was just a little too late too. Do what needed to be done morning staff member was informed of an issue and he did not solve the problem or act like he wanted to. Check-in staff was awesome.
