"Great place, love the gardens. Nice pol and hot tub. Excellent breakfast. Very quiet property. Carriage House was large and spacious. Numerous light bulbs out but other than that, great stay."

"The photos are very misleading. It is a Motel 6 property. Not overly clean or well repaired. The hallways and the room smelled awful and the bed was so uncomfortable I probably would have been better off on the floor. We were also put into the wrong type of room and then told they didn’t care about the mix up. "

"Extremely filty room, rust and brown water came out of the shower every time it was first turned on, carpet sticky and smelly, half of the lights and the electrical outlets were not working or missing bulbs, air conditioner extremely noisy and did not cool room, all surfaces grimy and dirty. Missing TV remote and refrigerator was not working. Spiders appeared in the bathroom during the night. Several long term guest sit outside their rooms watching you go in and out of room as though they are...

"Highly recommend staying at the Dixie Motel! The owners have thought of everything from fantastic water pressure in the shower to freshly made tea and other snacks in the fridge. The room was very clean and homey."
