"The room was clean, quiet, and equipped with AC, and a nice hot shower. Breakfast was delicious. Although my flight arrived on time, I missed my scheduled pickup time due to customs. They waited for me the entire time and were incredibly kind and understanding about it."

"Somar is a beautiful property managed by the most amazing guy, Oscar. We booked Casa Sirena suite, it said it was a king bed but it was actually a queen (it didnt matter to us). The room was clean, had a comfy bed and very cold AC! The pool and hot tub were so great, and being right on the beach allowed us to explore the beach for miles and swim in warm ocean waters with soft sand for 100+feet out. Having a restaurant on site was so nice as its a remote location with only a basic market (water, snacks, fruit, beer) about 15min drive. The meals were delicious, the beers were cold and Oscars breakfast omelette was the best! We would go back the next time were were in the area - 10/10 experience!"

"Hotel Tranquilo is a great hotel for people that want a quiet, safe, relaxing spot but be within walking distance of the other attractions, bars, and restaurants. We stayed there for 5 nights. The food was good...staff excellent, friendly and helpful...The atmosphere is relaxed even with multiple rooms are full there is enough space either on the two story palapa or in the well maintained pool to just chill. The after hours drink policy is fair and pretty awesome. (I definitely used it). Would recommend a stay here for sure. "

"The place is nice with the beach and swimming pool. Their bathrooms are terrible on the resort. Also the cleanness of the rooms are okayeesh. But the bathroom looks really old and needs more work. Also the house keepers are very protective and slow on replying for extra towels or toilet papers. The rooms has a lot of insects entering due to cracks through the doors and window. This place needs a lot of fixing in order to maintain tourists coming from out of the country. Because it seems like the locals are the only ones keeping them up float. The only great plus I can give them is their swimming pool and beach. But staying there I wouldn’t recommend it just because of how the rooms are pourly maintained. Also the dinner is great but it seems they reuse some of the food from lunch. "

"This was the second time I've stayed in this hotel and it wont be the last one whenever I'm in Leon. Clean room, comfy bed, hot shower, great A/C. The staff are great all the way from front desk to the guards. The free breakfast is good as well. Ill definitely be back!"
