"The property is a mini animal sanctuary, with many agouti running around and sloths hanging in the trees. Many birds and frogs and even a kinkajou, although hard to spot. The hosts are very nice and helpful, Marise will make sure you and comfortable and Pierre will tell you all about the wildlife. The room is clean and comfortable, although there is no AC, so keep that in mind. "The hotel was conveniently located close to a beautiful, private beach. The staff was friendly but dining staff was very very slow. Wifi is very weak here. Nice rooms but without air conditioning. Make sure to bring earplugs for the road noise and birds. "

"I absolutely loved my stay at Terrazas. The location is fantastic, close to a ton of restaurants and bars, and practically across the street from the beach. The staff is super welcoming and kind, and they even surprised me with dessert for my birthday. The rooms were very comfortable and the AC worked very well, as did the hot water for a shower. I also really enjoyed the toiletries; everything was top notch. I highly recommend. "

"Tortuga Lodge was an amazing stay. The staff was incredibly friendly. The tours available were fun, informative, and worth it! The staff was very helpful in helping us schedule our tours. Definitely recommend. A quick note. Transportation by boat is very difficult after hours. While the staff was able to connect us with a private transfer, it took alot of communication. "

"Beautiful and secluded! Upscale tropical feels with ocean views! The staff was amazing and shout out to Dinnier for personally showing us the local wildlife including sloths and monkeys while we had an amazing dinner by the ocean. Breakfast was great too! Loved it! "

"Set in a jungle angle like setting , yet very well maintained, friendly staff, beautiful plants and sounds on birds And monkeys especially in the morning.10- 15 min walk to beach 20-25 to grocery store . Tuk tuk is very affordable if you don’t have a car . Grocery Store delivery free if you spend $50.00 or so . Lots of local restaurants within walking distance. The road up is a bit rough. "
