"The pool and hot tub were the highlights of why we picked this property. Upon check in we were told it was closed. We wanted to exercise before heading to bed and it was 8pm. The front desk staff offered to refund us if we wanted to go elsewhere but we were from out of town and needed a place to sleep! We were disappointed to not be notified ahead of time and told so we could make other arrangements in another city on our road trip."

"The front desk staff are friendly and efficient! The check-in process was easy and quick, and the room was clean and fresh. The pillows are especially nice!"

"I think this property could be a lot better if it was updated. In the bathrooms, the doors could’ve shut better. The bathtub had been painted and were chipped up. The outside needs a lot of attention to look more presentable. The inside was better than the outside. Long look better. The building itself could’ve looked a lot cleaner. They had a great breakfast. The staff was good, but I think they can get a lot better if they improve the appearance on the outside and update the rooms."

"We are repeat customers for the Blue Spruce Motel. It’s always very clean and has a very comfortable bed. It’s nice to have the mini fridge. Our only issue was how the bottom of the tub drain area looked in this particular room. It was old, maybe stained, and not remodeled like the rest of the room. In spite of this, we will definitely stay there again! "
