"Hosteria Papagayo was a lovely place for us to rest and relax after hiking Quilatoa and Cotopaxi. We enjoyed exploring the farm - free ranging chickens, ducks, cow etc - with our 2 year old son. The room was nicely furnished and the breakfast was good. Wifi was good and water pressure/temperature was good. The hotel staff also kindly accommodated our food requests. Some negatives: There was not much else to do on the property or in the surrounding area. It was expensive to get transportation...

"La hacienda es muy Hermosa!!! El contacto con la naturalesa nos encanto a toda mi familia. Su comida era organica y de primera. Un lugar muy acogedor. Sus habitaciones iban a la tematica del lugar y por la Noche se puede ver una magestuosa Luna, muy iluminante. RECOMENDADA !! Gracias a sus Anfitriones muy amables y atentos. We were told that rooms needed to be cleaned and we could wait. This wasn’t a big deal as we sat in the dining area.
